Our next 3-hour meditation service will be held on Tuesday, June 3, in the Greenfield barn chapel, beginning at 6:30 pm with Energization Exercises and ending at 9:30 pm. The chapel opens at 6:15.

We are pleased to announce that Greenfield Retreat will be hosting Convocation 2025 at the Laurel Ridge Community College, Middletown Campus, beginning June 23. You may attend all or part of the week. Please visit the Greenfield website to view the schedule and to fill out the online reservation form.

Our program at the community college will present most but not all of the available Convocation events. Please note that you must register separately for Convocation on the SRF website if you plan to watch livestreamed Convocation events in your home or on your mobile device, or view the online events at a later time.

Also, please note that the Inspirational and Prayer service scheduled for convocation week, Thursday, June 26, has been cancelled.

We also want to remind you of the abundance of online meditations, study groups, and retreats that are currently offered. To learn more about these events, visit the SRF Online Meditation Center website, onlinemeditation.yogananda.org.

Please note the following change to our scheduled services: Next Sunday, June 1, our Sunday services will be held at the Bethel Community Center. The chapel opens at 10:15 am; the meditation service begins at 10:30 am and the readings service begins at 11:30 am.

We will continue to hold our Sunday services at the Bethel Community Center through the months of June and July, and into the first two weeks of August.

Also, please note that the Inspirational and Prayer service scheduled for this Thursday, May 29 has been cancelled.

We are offering a Women’s Kriyaban retreat on the Greenfield grounds in the Barn chapel from Thursday evening May 29 through Sunday, June 1. The retreat is fully registered, but you can sign up for the wait list on the Greenfield website; on the Retreats menu, click Women’s Kriyaban Retreats and fill out the reservation form.

On Saturday, May 10, we will commemorate the birthday of Swami Sri Yukteswar with a service at the 4-H Educational Center beginning at 1:30 pm and ending at approximately 2:30 pm. Please bring a flower to this service as a symbol of your devotion, and a donation may be given as a symbol of your loyalty to the work of Self Realization Fellowship. Although this service occurs during our weekend retreat, registration is not required if you plan to attend only the commemorative service.

The work party concludes with a light lunch served at 12:30 pm, with both indoor and outdoor tasks for all levels of skill and physical ability. Please join us in our special Easter weekend retreat April 18 – 20 at the 4-H Educational Center, beginning with our Good Friday service at 6:30 pm. A nun from Mother Center will be visiting Greenfield and leading portions of the retreat program. Saturday begins with a guided meditation at 9:30 am, followed by a vegan lunch, and concluding with a special showing of a movie about the life of Saint Philip Neri, ending at 5:45 pm. At 10:00 am on Sunday we will be livestreaming Bro. Chidananda’s sunrise service, followed by a meditation and a period of fellowship. Registration is required for the events on Saturday, April 19.  At this point, you may register and we will contact you if space is available. A registration form is available on the Easter Retreat page of our website.

On Friday, April 4 and Saturday, April 5, we will hold a Women’s Work Retreat, offering two days of seva, meditation, fellowship, and fun. Registration is required, and you may register for all or part or the two-day event. Service activities will focus on preparing the grounds and gardens for Easter weekend, and meditations will be held in the Barn chapel. Space is limited, and we are able to accommodate only those who are able to participate in the work activities. We would like to remind everyone to help contribute to the atmosphere of stillness and devotion by maintaining silence when entering the chapel, as well as at the close of service, prior to leaving the chapel. By doing so, we continue the peace we achieve during meditation, both for ourselves and for those who may wish to stay behind and meditate for a few minutes after the service.
