Please note that the Greenfield grounds will be closed this Wednesday, January 1.
Next Sunday, January 5, we will commemorate the birthday of Paramahansa Yogananda with a service held here at the 4-H Educational Center, beginning at 10 am and ending at approximately 11:15 am. Please bring a flower to this service as a symbol of your devotion, and a donation may be given as a symbol of your loyalty to the work of Self Realization Fellowship. The Sunday reading service will be held from 11:30-12: 30. After the reading service, we will have a period of fellowship and cake to celebrate Master’s birthday.
Our next 3-hour meditation service for January will be held on Tuesday, January 7, in the Greenfield barn chapel, beginning at 6:30 pm with Energization Exercises and ending at 9:30 pm. The chapel opens at 6:15.
On Saturday, January 11, we will have a special meditation in honor of Paramahansa Yogananda, beginning at 10:00 am and ending at 4:00 pm, also at the 4-H Educational Center. Please bring a fruit as a devotional offering, and a donation in a white envelope may be offered.
As winter weather approaches, we want to remind you that after a major weather event, please check to find out if we are having service by visiting our web site, www.srfgreenfield.org, or by contacting Greenfield at 540-635-5062 to hear a notification announcement on the answering machine.
