Next Sunday, December 1, we are sponsoring a one-time collection of food, clothing, and household items to assist needy families and individuals in our community. Donations can include toiletry items such as soap, shampoo, deodorant, toothpaste, and so on, and donations of canned goods and other non-perishable food items in cardboard and plastic containers are also welcome. Again, this is a one-time collection event, so please remember to bring your items next Sunday.
Our next 3-hour meditation service will be held on Tuesday, December 3, in the Greenfield barn chapel, beginning at 6:30 pm with Energization Exercises and ending at 9:30 pm. The chapel opens at 6:15.
On Saturday, December 14, we will have our All-Day Christmas Meditation, from 10:00 am to 5:30 pm, here at the 4-H Educational Center. Please bring a fruit as a devotional offering, and a donation in a white envelope may be offered. For guidance on preparing for this service, please see the informational sheet Instructions for Devotees, available on the free literature table.
On Sunday, December 15, a fellowship gathering will be held immediately after the service. Light refreshments will be served, and everyone is welcome to attend.
As winter weather approaches, we want to remind you that after a major weather event, please check to find out if we are having service by visiting our web site, srfgreenfield.org, or by contacting Greenfield at 540-635-5062 to hear a notification announcement on the answering machine. In addition to general road and weather conditions, we are also subject to the closing policies of the 4-H Educational Center.
