Our next 3-hour meditation service will be held this Tuesday, November 18, in the Greenfield barn chapel, beginning at 6:30 pm with Energization Exercises and ending at 9:30 pm. The chapel opens at 6:15.
We will be offering a one-day silent retreat for women next Saturday, November 22. Lunch will be provided. Pre-registration is required and you can register through today on the Greenfield web site; click on the Retreats menu at the top of the page, and then click One Day Retreats for further information and to fill out and submit the online reservation form. A downloadable retreat schedule is also available on this page. The suggested cost for the retreat is $50.
On Thursday, November 27, we invite you to join us for a one-hour Thanksgiving Service beginning at 10:30 am. Please note that no Inspirational and Prayer service will be held that evening.
We are resuming our annual collection of food, clothing, and household items to assist needy families and individuals in our community. Donations can include toiletry items such as toothpaste, lotion, soap, shampoo, conditioner, toilet paper, feminine supplies, baby powder, diapers, and so on, and donations of canned goods and other non-perishable food items in cardboard and plastic containers are also welcome. Warm coats and other outdoor clothing are also in need. You may leave your donations in the room off the south end of the foyer through the holiday season.
We are happy to announce that tea will be available at the end of each Sunday service. Herbal teas are available, and at the current time the tea cart will be in the room off the foyer to your left as you leave the chapel. Please remember that no food or drink is allowed in the chapel.
We are aware that there is an interest in resuming men’s one day retreats. To assess the level of potential participation we ask that men who are interested please complete a brief survey and return by November 30. You can pick up a survey at the free literature table in the foyer and return the survey to a marked folder that is also on the free literature table.
