This Thursday, November 27, all are invited to attend a one-hour Thanksgiving Service beginning at 10:30 am. Please note that no Inspirational and Prayer service will be held that evening.
Our next 3-hour meditation service will be held Tuesday, December 2, in the Greenfield barn chapel, beginning at 6:30 pm with Energization Exercises and ending at 9:30 pm. The chapel opens at 6:15.
We are resuming our annual collection of food, clothing, and household items to assist needy families and individuals. Donations can include toiletry items such as toothpaste, lotion, soap, shampoo, conditioner, toilet paper, feminine supplies, baby powder, diapers, and so on, and donations of canned goods and other non-perishable food items in cardboard and plastic containers are also welcome. Warm coats and other outdoor clothing are also in need. You may leave your donations in the room off the south end of the foyer through the holiday season.
We are happy to announce that tea will be available at the end of each Sunday service. Herbal teas are available, and at the current time the tea cart will be in the room off the foyer to your left as you leave the chapel. Please remember that no food or drink is allowed in the chapel.
We are aware that there is an interest in resuming men’s one-day retreats. To assess the level of potential participation we ask that men who are interested please complete a brief survey and return by November 30. You can pick up a survey at the free literature table in the foyer and return the survey to a marked folder that is also on the free literature table.
On Saturday, December 13, we will have our All-Day Christmas Meditation, from 10:00 am to 5:30 pm. Please bring a fruit as a devotional offering, and a donation in a white envelope may be offered. For additional guidance, please see the informational sheet Instructions for Devotees, on the free literature table.
On Sunday, December 14, a fellowship gathering will be held immediately after the service. Please see the free literature table to sign up for what you would like to bring. All are invited to attend. If you have any questions, please see Sr. Yashoda.
